Bear Mountain honey is raw, unpasteurized, uncooked and unfiltered. That is, our honey is only strained to remove any honey comb wax and bee's wings so it still contains original pollen. We do not heat the honey like commercial honey packers do to break down any sugar crystals. That is why their (the commercial producer's) honey will stay clear longer on the shelf. Of course, heat above 120 degrees destroys the antioxidants, important enzymes, vitamins and other beneficial attributes. Also, many people find that heated honey looses much of its natural aroma and flavor.
It is not recommended that raw honey be fed to children under the age of one year old. |

Alkalizing Protein from whole food sources is crucial for sustaining and building strength and healthy muscle tissue. But what most people do not know is that quality (i.e. digestibility and pH balance) is more important than quantity. Consuming a large amount of acid forming, hard to digest protein is not the best nutritional direction to take. Organic Food Bars utilize easy to digest organic almond butter and rice protein. |
